Game Summary

Even though they trailed after the first quarter, the Nets really controlled this whole game. Sacramento got excellent guard play from Mike Bibby and Ray Allen, but New Jersey used it's size to control tempo and own the paint. When Stephon Marbury found himself in foul trouble early, Juan Carlos Navarro took the point and put the team on his back, scoring ten straight unanswered points that really gave New Jersey control of the game for good. Sacramento cut into the lead with a 3-guard offense utilizing Bibby, Allen, and Chauncey Billups, but they were never able to bring it all the way back.
