| This game was an up-and down affair, with both teams making liberal substitutions to keep fresh legs pushing the ball up and down the court. Elton Brand had a fairly pedestrian game against his former squad, but he did come up big with some key baskets down the stretch. New Jersey gave up a nine point lead late in the fourth quarter because of lazy passing, but after a time-out they turned it around, making smart passes, and the extra pass to find open looks to regain the lead and the W. |
